La 67e Semaine liturgique Saint-Serge, initialement prévue du 30 juin au 3 juillet 2020, est reportée en juillet 2021
Compte tenu de la situation sanitaire qui s'impose actuellement, la 67e Semaine liturgique est REPORTÉE d’un an, et fixée désormais aux 6-9 juillet 2021.
Cependant, pour ne pas produire une impression d’absence de communication entre liturgistes dans cet intervalle, ni laisser vacant le créneau du 30 juin, un projet de rencontre virtuelle est à l’étude, prévoyant des échanges sur les questions théologiques, liturgiques et pastorales liées aux conditions de confinement.
Diverses raisons ont amené les organisateurs à éviter tout risque de rassemblement à un moment prématuré. Le programme déjà mis au point reste inchangé et nous espérons vivement pouvoir compter sur les mêmes intervenants et collaborateurs (visite, présidence, traducteurs). Mais pour ne pas produire une impression d’absence de communication entre liturgistes dans cet intervalle, ni laisser vacant le créneau du 30 juin, un projet de rencontre virtuelle est à l’étude, prévoyant des échanges sur les questions théologiques, liturgiques et pastorales liées aux conditions de confinement.
Il reste à déterminer ce qui est techniquement réalisable et vous serez informés des modalités plus précises de cette rencontre : thèmes possibles, accès et mode de participation.

INTERNATIONAL AND INTERDISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE "SACRED ARCHITECTURE, RITE AND MUSIC BETWEEN BYZANTIUM AND THE WEST (SIXTH TO FIFTEENTH CENTURY)"

The decidedly interdisciplinary conference is aimed at scholars of Byzantine studies, Christian archaeology and musicology, history of art and architecture, as well as liturgy and church history. The conference is organised by the research project "CANTORIA - Music and Sacred Architecture" in cooperation with the Leibniz ScienceCampus "Byzantium between Orient and Occident" (Mainz/Frankfurt) and the Leibniz Institute of European History.
Papers of 30 minutes will be accepted in German and English. Interested speakers are invited to submit an abstract of their proposed paper (max. 500 words) and a short CV (max. 300 words) by 15 May 2020 to:
